7 Things to Do to Improve Sleep 

We spend a third of our lives sleeping, so its best that we do it right! Here a few things you can do around your bedroom and home for a good nights’ sleep.

1. Set the Temperature:

Most studies state that the best temperature for a good night’s sleep is 15 – 20 degrees, so turn on that AC or the fan before you hit the hay!

2. Use Calm Colors:

Painting your bedroom can transform your sleeping habits, so long as you use natural and soothing colors, like neutral shades or light pastels.

3. Clean the Air:

A dusty room will not help at all when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep, and its always better to have clean air. If a purifier doesn’t work for you, then use a plant or two to purify the room.

4. Keep it Dark:

The darker the room is, the better sleep you’ll get! Try and turn off the lights off in the room, and that includes NOT using your smart phone before going to bed.

5. Invest in a Mattress and Pillows:

Your mattress and pillows are an essential part of your sleep, and if they aren’t comfortable, clean or well kept, then you won’t be getting quality sleep.

6. Remove the TV from the Bedroom:

If you do have a television in your bedroom, its actually better to remove it, as it keeps your mind stimulated, stealing sleep from you!

7. Keep it Neat and Tidy:

Removing the clutter and tiding up the room can make sleep a lot better, as it won’t distract you from dozing off!
