Sometimes, moving out is a necessary change in life. Here are a few reasons not to renew your rental agreement.
Rising rents:
While a slight increase in rent is normal, it needs to be within a reasonable range, and with an advance notice to the renter. If the landlord or owner drastically raises the price of your rent, and without ample notice, then it’s probably time to start looking for a new place.
Life changes:
Sometimes in life, changes take place, which inevitably require you to move to a new home. Maybe you’re getting married, having children, changing jobs, or even getting a pet! These life milestones almost always come with a change of homes.
Issues with your owner/landlord:
We would all love to have a great relationship with the owners or landlords of the rental homes we’re living in, but unfortunately, that is not always true. One of the major issues that usually takes place is maintenance, where the landlord or owner is just not fixing what needs to be fixed! In that case, spare yourself the headache, and start your search for a new home.
It makes sense:
Maybe you’ve just started a new job that requires you to be closer to the office, or maybe you need a new environment… whatever the case is, sometimes, leaving a rental for a new one is the step that you need to take and that makes more sense for your lifestyle.
