It’s almost time for sun, sand and surf! Here’s a list of some of the best public beaches in Bahrain
Bahrain Al Beach:
A well liked option by families; this beach gets busy on the weekends with the little ones running around. Located near Manama and Durrat Al Bahrain, it offers easy access to visitors, and is a guarantee good time!
Bahrain Amwaj Beach:
Bring on the jet skis! This beach, while not really considered a public beach is a weekend favorite for residents. You can swim, relax and watch the sunset and watch kite surfers. Keep an eye out for the jet skiers; there are plenty of them there.
Arad Fort Beach:
While you can still swim there, this beach is more suitable for a picnic and for watching the sunset/sunrise (if you’re up that early!) Thanks to its paved area, it’s a great choice for a walk and some games as well.
Hidd Beach:
Another beach that draws in picnickers, the small area near to Prince Khalifa bin Salman Park attracts visitors for food, fun and stunning views of Juffair and Manama
Jazair Beach:
One of Bahrain’s true public beaches, it is located at the end of Gulf of Bahrain Avenue. The sandy beach extends over a kilometer and also has shaded areas and gear to keep the kids busy.
Karbabad Beach:
One of the most popular beaches for an evening stroll or a picnic!
Busaiteen Beach:
Located in Al Muharraq, it is a substantially large beach that has swimming spots and finishing areas. Busaiteen Beach is also known for providing some of the most beautiful sunsets and views as well!
(Please ensure that you respect local traditions while at the beach and dress appropriately).
